TPM has malfunctioned when logging into Outlok. Error 80090016.
End user trying to log into Outlook and after completing the log in process a screen prompts saying that Something went wrong. Your computer's Trusted Platform Module has malfuctioned. If this error persists, contact your system administrator with the error code 80090016.
Any combination of these steps could fix the issue.
- Uninstall and reinstall O365
- Remove the end user’s Microsoft School account within Settings, Accounts.
- Remove the end user’s Microsoft cached credentials from within Credential Manager.
- If the machine is enrolled in Device Only Management thru Intune, remove it.
Reboot the machine after doing any of these things and have the end user try again.
